Tactics Under Night Vision

 

THIS COURSE DELIVERS THE STUDENT A COMPREHENSIVE OVERVIEW OF TACTICS UNDER NIGHT VISION DEVICES.

 

If the unit is unable to effectively and efficiently maneuver through built up areas to the targeted structure, then the unit could potentially compromise themselves, leading to increased risk to force through loss of surprise and/or premature escalation. Northern Red will provide day and nighttime blocks of instruction on CQB, Small Unit Tactics, movement techniques, actions on contact, route selection, planning considerations, and actions taken at the Last Covered & Concealed position (LCC). Through our instructional experience, Northern Red has found that this skill is often overlooked and under-trained. The proficiency of Urban Movement must not be overlooked when assessing your Units general readiness to conduct operations.

• Fundamentals of operating under night vision devices

• Daytime and nighttime movement techniques

• Urban movement and tactical maneuvering

• Close Quarters Battle (CQB) under night vision

• Small unit tactics and team coordination

• Scenario-based tactical exercises tailored to operational missions

• Actions on contact in low-light environments

• Route selection and mission planning considerations

• Last Covered & Concealed (LCC) procedures

• Maintaining surprise and reducing operational risk

• Communication and leadership during nighttime operations
